This wonderful new collection of waltzes for three trumpets by Erik Veldkamp, complete with recorded demos of every tune, is the latest iteration in Erik’s incredible series of compositions and adaptations for trumpet chamber groups of all sizes. Carrying on a long tradition of jazz-infused waltz writing, these trios each take on a unique character that makes them ideal for both studio study and concert performances. About half of these trios are adaptations of works by Latin composers, and the rest are originals from Erik Veldkamp himself.
