Lone Star Block Workshop – with Jane Alcock

Jane will spend the day with you teaching this amazing large star block. A classic design, this block will come out at nearly 30 inches square. This is perfect for a wall hanging or, with added borders, can be sized up for a throw or picnic blanket, or become the centre piece of a quilt. The workshop will look at insetting the triangles & squares. It’s an exercise in using a different line on the ruler and off setting seams. Fabric requirements are: 5 x 1/2m in gradient colours or contrasts ( rainbow of colours work well) 1m of background fabric.
